I’ve been umpiring since I was 12.
I was a shy, quiet child (in public!)
I learnt to blow a whistle.
I learnt to believe my decisions.
I learnt that I have the power to correct my mistakes.
I learnt to forgive my errors and not let them impact my future decisions.
I learnt to be the best version of myself.

Now I want to share the love I have for my umpiring with you
To develop a stronger understanding of your power.

Umpires are diamonds. Forged under constant pressure we stand for fairness and understanding.
 We arrive and perform and leave in silence. We are diamonds. And together we stand strong.
